Frequently asked questions

Below are some of the questions clients often ask when booking the band, however if you do not see the information you require, click on the contact tab above and use the form provided.

Q.
Will I be required to sign a contract?
Yes, all of our engagements are covered by our standard contract that is available to read before booking the band. Having a contract ensures the client has peace of mind that everything is confirmed in advance..

Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?

A 25% deposit is payable upon the signing the contact.  All such matters can be discussed with us prior to you confirming your booking.

Q. How long do you play for?

We normally perform two ‘live’ sets, each one lasting about an hour. We will speak with you beforehand to arrange times. Any significant departure from this should be discussed well in advance.

Q. Can I see you live before I book?
We do perform at several pub and clubs that are open to the public. Alternatively we have some sample tracks on the website but if you prefer we can supply a promotional CD

Q. Can we request a specific song?
Yes. We are happy to take requests for songs that we do not play but his is limited to two per function. Please advise us in advance of any such requests.

Q. Can you provide pre-recorded music when you’re not performing?

Certainly. We carry a small selection of music on Minidisk that we can play either to keep the party going between our ‘live’ sets and / or to provide background music. If you would like something in particular, please provide a compilation CD or MD.

Q. How long does it take to set up your equipment?
We like to have around 2 hours to be in the comfort zone, however some venues can be quite tricky, and take longer while others can be rigged quite quickly.

Q. Do you have public liability cover?
Yes. We’re happy to provide copies of the relevant certificates on request. An increasing number of hotels and venues now insist that all entertainers have public liability cover.

Stage Requirements
We can play in almost any space available to us however we do request an area of at least 15ft by 10ft is set aside for our equipment and performance.

We also request that a safe and reliable 240v power supply with a minimum of 3 double sockets is located close to the stage area.

Please contact us regarding our needs for outdoor events.

We reserve the right to cease playing if band members or our equipment are in any way put at risk during a performance.
